Colliers Project Leaders in Canada (Formerly MHPM) Part of Winning Team at CoreNet Global’s REmmy Awards Gala

Colliers International was honoured with the Best Workplace 5,000 – 50,000 sq. ft. award at CoreNet Global Canadian Chapter’s, REmmy Awards Gala. The award recognises teams whose collaboration and vision on a specific project raised the bar for real estate in Canada, and brought innovation and sustainability to the workplace.

Colliers’ newly constructed Toronto headquarters was honoured for its people-first approach, emphasising the client experience as well as encouraging collaboration and innovation. Colliers Project Leaders in Canada (formerly MHPM) is proud to be part of the winning team, which includes Colliers International, figure3 interior design and Vestacon Construction Managers.

Congratulations to our Advisory Services group, who delivered the needs assessment and created the workplace strategy, and our Project Management team, who provided the project management, move management and post occupancy services.

    About the Project

After spending over 25 years at its previous Toronto location, Colliers International decided it was time for a change. They wanted a space that they could be proud of, a space that could communicate their story, as well as show off their people’s talents and personalities.

By applying a five-phase solution approach, which included Project Launch, Workplace Strategy Development, Transaction Execution, Execution Logistics and Planning, and Construction and Post-Occupancy, the team transformed Colliers’ Toronto workplace culture.

The new office at 181 Bay Street provides areas for focused thought, shared work, continuous learning and consistent social interaction, moving away from a purely functional space to an agile, flexible environment.

By asking the question “What does the office of the future look like for Colliers?” Colliers transformed its workplace culture into one that fosters greater collaboration, transparency and innovation, demonstrating the company’s values of service, expertise, community and fun.
